Technology

For any Technology related questions or issues, you may submit a trouble ticket here

The Technology Department oversees all aspects relating to technology in the District, including computers, Chromebooks, iPads, software, networking, and planning. The department aids in management of all school databases, including financials and student and staff information systems.

Staff

Hilldale Technology Department includes District Staff and Site Computer Teachers that work together to support the individual school sites.

Standards

Hilldale Public Schools utilizes the latest models of Dell, HP, and Lenovo computers for teacher, staff and student use.

We also utilize Dell and Samsung Chromebooks, and Apple iPads for student use.

These computers are replaced every three to five years as warranties expire. Each teacher workstation is provided connectivity to at least one high speed, high output copy machine. A full list of standards will be provided on this site.

Computer, Internet, and Student Device Usage Agreements

The Technology Department requires an Internet and computer use agreement to be signed by students and their parents, and employees. It reminds everyone the importance of prudent Internet use.

The agreements also cover replacement costs for damage to a Chromebook or iPad that the student is issued. Payment must be made by the student's parents or guardian prior to the issuance of a new device. Please see your Site Principal for this information.

Hilldale Public Schools also encourages all parents and guardians to take seriously the proper treatment of devices issued to their student.
