2013 Bond Projects
In March 2013, patrons of the Hilldale School District approved a $7.9 million Bond Issue. Information about this Bond:
- $7.9 Million Bond approved
- Raised Taxes $1.60 Monthly for every $100 of Property Taxes
- Federal QSCB grant received that paid most of the interest, nearly $1.7 Million
- Nearly $7.2 Million of expendable funds
- Came in almost 1% under original budget
- The original budget did not include the cost of saferooms, typically at least 30% more in construction; however, 3 saferooms were built in these facilities and still remained under budget
- Pays off July 2024
- Projects completed
- Elementary parking lot expansion
- New Middle School-High School Kitchen
- New Middle School Cafeteria that is also a saferoom
- New High School Cafeteria
- New Middle School-High School Band room that is also a saferoom
- New Middle School classrooms and restrooms
- New Elementary Kitchen and Cafeteria that is also a saferoom
