Just like a home address, you can tell if your website is in a good neighborhood or not by the web address- .gov and .edu are valid websites because they are government and educational websites. .org are valid websites, but are bias to the organizations cause. .com and .net can be valid websites if they have the following guidelines: Does the website contain a name of an author; can I contact the author by email, mailing address, or phone number; and does it have a date. If the last update for the website is old, look for a website that is more current. Information is constantly changing.
