August 5th Superintendent Update

 PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR ENROLLMENT – If you are guardian in process of enrolling you need to complete all forms in the parent portal.  If you fail to complete all forms or have not finished you should receive an email explaining how to complete all forms.

 

Middle and High School Schedule Pick up – Schedule Pick up dates for Middle and High school are listed below – (8:30 to `11:30 and 12:30 to 3:30).  Students need to be pre-enrolled to pick up their schedule and chrome books.  There is a $25.00 insurance fee to receive your chrome book.  Yearbooks will be distributed during these days.

 

Elementary Meet and Greet - Dates are listed below.  Teachers will contact student parents’ when class lists are released to them to set up an appointment to attend.  Teachers will begin calling on Tuesday, August 9 to set up appointments for meet and greet.  IF you have not received a call by the end of the day Thursday, August 11, please contact us as there is an issue with your enrollment.   

 

Transfers – You should receive an email with a decision for your child(ren).  Please check your email and contact our administrative office if you have any questions, 918-683-0273.

 

Pre-Enrollment for Current Students – Current students need to pre-enroll through each students parent portal.  Students must be pre-enrolled before they will be assigned classes or teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.  If you need access to your parent portal please contact our administrative office, jjohnson@hilldaleps.org

 

 

Child Nutrition - All students/parents must complete a Free and Reduced Application on the Parent Portal for student enrollment.  Free breakfast and lunch for all students was NOT reauthorized by the Federal Government for this school year.  THEREFORE, the only way to receive free or reduced lunch and breakfast is to complete the application and qualify by income.  If you have questions, please contact our administrative office, 918-683-0273.

 

Student Handbooks - All student handbooks will be approved on Parent Portal.  You must approve your child(ren) student handbook form for enrollment.  For parent portal access contact your school site office.

 

Curriculum – Student Resources -  Hilldale is adding our textbooks and some curriculum resources available on our website.  Go to each school site, then Textbook links and Resources.  Science and Social Studies are accessible now.  We are working to add Math and elementary site words at this time.  Reading and Language Arts will be added closer to the start of school as we are adopting new reading curriculum.
