Student Bus Stop Safety Etiquette
Launch the media gallery 1 player- Please be waiting at the stop five (5) minutes before bus is scheduled to arrive.
- Please stand in a line while waiting at the bus stop.
- No horseplay is allowed at or around bus stop.
- Please stay at least 10 feet away from the road until bus has come to a complete stop.
- Please do not approach the school bus until it is completely stopped, lights are on and the stop arm is deployed with red lights flashing.
- Please remember you are a guest at the bus stop.
- Please be courteous, do not litter, and respect the property of others.
- Please dress according to the weather conditions.
- Please do not chase or “tag” the bus.
- Please do not cross behind the school bus.
- Personal items brought on the bus must be able to fit in a student’s lap without blocking the aisle.
- Please keep in mind that transportation policy mirrors school policy regarding the use of electronics.
