Working...
This scholarship is being offered in memory of B. David Boyer (1948-2021). David was passionate about agriculture from a very early age. His passion grew as he entered high school and became involved in Vocational Agriculture and the Future Farmers of America (FFA). After college he spent a few years teaching Vocational Agriculture and then worked in agronomy research before fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a full time dairy and beef producer. David was an outspoken advocate for all things agriculture on both state and national levels, serving on numerous boards and committees throughout the years. He especially enjoyed meeting young people who shared his love of agriculture and did all he could to encourage them to pursue their passion for it as he had. It brought David great hope for the future of agriculture to see young people continuing the legacy of farming.
