The Democratic Women of Muskogee County will be presenting two JoBeth Michele Haley Memorial Scholarships for 2022graduating seniors from Muskogee County who meet the criteriabelow.
• Must be a 2022 graduating high school female senior from a Muskogee County School and attend college (institution of higher education) the Fall semester of 2022.
• Must be a resident of Muskogee County or live in a Muskogee County school district.
• Must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0.
• Must type a one-page essay (350-400 words) about (1) what Democratic Platform issues concern you the most, and (2) how you are or plan to become active to help bring about change. (3)It should also include why you have chosen to be a Democrat.
• If 18 years of age, must be a registered Democrat prior to submitting application.
• If student is not 18, one parent must currently be a registered as a Democrat.

Two $1000.00 scholarships will be presented. Students meeting the above criteria may email or mail a completed application along with a copy of their essay, a current high school transcript AND either a photocopy of their Voter Registration card or if not 18, their parent’s Voter Registration card proving Democrat registration to democraticwomenofmuskogeecounty@yahoo.com. Deadline for receipt of the application is April 1, 2022.Applications will not be accepted after this deadline. If you are the winner, the Democratic Women of Muskogee County will contact you or your school, we hope to present the scholarship at your school’s awards ceremony.
